The Greenfield Soccer Association for Youth concluded its 2008 season on Sunday October 26th. This year we had 200 players ages 4 to 13 in fifteen teams. A total of 88 games were played. Five teams traveled to play away games.
Some of the changes introduced this season were: adopting new age divisions, the use of Harper's fields in South Salem to host home games for our traveling teams (U-12 and U-14), higher quality uniforms, revised soccer rules and new goals for our instructional program, revised soccer rules for our Passers and Wings divisions, and an extended 10 week season.
Please help improve the program by returning survey forms to the GSAY Board, or by sharing your suggestions at any of the Board meetings. Meetings are open to the public and are conducted the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Greenfield Branch Library (time and location subject to change).
The Greenfield Soccer Association for Youth thanks its players, coaches, parents, fans and volunteers for their contribution to this season, and congratulates all tournament champions and participants.
We hope to see you all next season!!!
